| On Saturday, July 28, 2001, the Orange County Chapter of the Knights of the Vine were Off to the Races.
Our adventure began with a ride on the Pacific Surfliner, Amtrak train #772 leaving San Juan Capistrano station.
Members were encouraged to bring snacks to share (and share we did).
The Pacific Surfliner arrived in Solana Beach were we caught open air double decker buses that took us to the Del Mar Racetrack (www.dmtc.com).
The event included a barbecue lunch.
After a fun day of sun, eating, drinking (and wagering) we took the double decker buses back to the train station and caught the train back to Orange County.
